Leaning Palm Resort

On the Beach, Near the Jungle, Far from the Crowd

The Hawksbill turtle is the most endangered of the Caribbean sea turtle, but here at Leaning Palm Resort the chance being a part of the nesting season is high.  Leaning Palm Resort rests on the very shores that these turtles favor for nesting.  The presence of good quality, high sandy beach in combination with a high percentage of beach vegetation such as sea grape and coco plum provide the low shrubbery that the Hawksbill turtle prefers.

Turtle Wakup Calls:  During turtle nesting season our staff keeps their eyes open for signs of nesting sea turtles.  If requested we will give you a wake-up call in the night if a nesting sea turtle is spotted.  Just let us know.
